This Employer is part of a larger global shipping organisation. They provide manufacturers, exporters, importers and shippers with highly competitive freight services throughout New Zealand and offer both wharf to wharf and door to door transport solutions.
Due to promotion they have a vacancy for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join their close knit team.
The core focus of the role is to liaise with customers and internal / external stakeholders to facilitate the supply of containers. This will include “free one way” units, forecasting future container demand, expediting return of overdue containers, detention billing and operational assistance.
To be considered for the role the ideal skills and attributes are sought after:
Clear and concise communication skills
2-5 yrs proven experience in a similar role
Strong organisational skills
Strong work ethic
No job is too big or too small mentality
High level of attention to detail
On offer to the right person:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
