They are looking for an Import Operator for a permanent full-time role at their busy Auckland offices. The right candidate should have experience in arranging transportation and shipment of import air consignments. This will involve compiling, completing and verifying documents.
Your main tasks:
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and service providers
Ensuring import work flow is in accordance with SOPs
Accurate and timely entering of data into Cargowise system
Calculating invoice costings, GST etc
What you bring to the role:
On-the-spot decision making ability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret data and document facts
Meeting timelines and following correct procedures
This is a job for someone who has previous experience in Freight Forwarding and Air Import. They want someone with get-go and leadership skills. Does that sound like you?
