Operating from their own purpose built facility covering 40,000 square feet of customs bonded warehousing, this employer has fully established itself as a leading service provider within NZ freight forwarding.
They are at the cusp of change and are looking for someone with a blended imports / exports / operational background to join their close knit team in this newly created role.
This is not your stock standard freight forwarding documentation position. This will suit an individual who has a strong operational background in freight forwarding, transport and logistics and has a passion for systems and process improvement and IT!
What are the ideal attributes and experience sought after for this role:
Intermediate to Advanced Computer skills – passion for IT
Proven experience in process and systems implementation
Understanding of operations and it’s effects on the business
Ability to identify areas in need of improvement
Problem solving skills
Clear and concise communication skills
