This successful company is a complete services provider to the Freight Forwarding industry. Most of their business is focused on Import Sea Freight.
They are looking for an EXPERIENCED and confident Customer Services person to look after their Import Sea Freight customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Prime tasks in the role:
Liaise with forwarders, cartage companies and customs to ensure timely import of cargo
Manage detention, demurrage and storage issues
Capture costs and invoicing into system in a timely and accurate manner
Adhere to Health & Safety protocols
This is a heavily customer focused role – the preferred candidate should be friendly and confident.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the company’s products and services
Polite and helpful telephone manner
Able to work well under pressure and manage their time
Excellent communication skills – English must be spoken as a first language
