This successful business is a leading name in the movers / transport of fragile freight industry. They are proudly New Zealand owned and operated. They are looking for a leader for their Auckland offices – a Branch Manager, driving staff forward. The ideal candidate will have full responsibility for the management of all branch staff, Health & Safety, customer focus and profitability.
Primary tasks of the role
Staff recruitment, culture building and team leadership
Responsible for compliance: Health & Safety and MPI Site approval
Fleet and Asset Management
Project management of large-scale moves
You will report to the General Manager and be a key player in the day-to-day running, planning and management of the branch’s resources.
The ideal candidate:
A natural team leader, motivating and driving staff forward
Relevant LONG-TERM experience in the removals industry
Ability to think on your feet and make decisions
Excellent communicator – English MUST be spoken and written as a first language
This is a role that calls for commitment to the company vision. You must be reliable and have a proven track record in team leadership.
